Secondly, I am hoping that one day I might be able to find someone with whom I can began a sort of collaboration. Mentoshipr might be the right word, as I'm playing the guitar now for over thirty years , it's not really a teacher I am looking for hence a "mentor"...mostly someone who I can fall back on as we go through a serious learning curve of new and exciting songs , most of which are straight up acoustic numbers, the likes of Tommy Emmanuel - infact it is Tommy's repotoire that I am wanting to learn.. not all of it but the main songs...
The issue is that I am based out of Dublin Ireland and I can't really find anyone who has this music in mind, not that there are not alot of great musicians in Ireland, there are...! it's just that I don't know any.
So if anyone is based in Dublin, has been playing the instrument for a while... has the ability to play Tommy's stuff, can inspire disipline to learn, has time... I'd like to hear from you on this blog... thanking anyboody who may want to reply, oh I might want to mention this hear, I believe this is a two way learning trip, so money . is not where I want to go...anyway think about it .. cheers.
